Danny Houston

Danny H. Houston, 57, of Jonesboro, died Friday afternoon at St. Bernards Medical Center. He had lived in Jonesboro all of his life and was a member of Temple Baptist Church where he was an assistant Sunday School teacher. He was a Quality Assurance Analyst at Airtex and was a real estate broker.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Houston, of the home; daughters, Diane Ball, St. Louis, Mary Wheeley, Jonesboro, Brenda Woodard, Mammoth Spring; grandchildren, Matthew Wheeley, Tyler Wheeley, Amber Wheeley, Candace Shrable, Lara Ervin, Lucas Ervin, and Michael Woodard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chris & Ida Pearl Houston, and a brother, Joe Houston.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at Temple Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Jerry Jolly officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be John Ball, Bobby Wheeley, Matthew Wheeley, Ronnie Chamberland, Richard Roush, and James Lisk.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 – service time Sunday at the church.
