Danny Ray Hopper, 56, a resident of Trumann and former resident of Harrisburg, peacefully departed this world on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at St. Bernard's Medical Center. Born in Sikeston, MO, on April 4, 1967, to the late Andy Hopper and Betty Little.
Danny found solace by the water, enjoying the tranquility of fishing, and displayed a strategic finesse in spirited games of dominoes, he loved playing horseshoes, darts, bingo, working in the yard, and a soft heart for animals. Each morning, his day began with joy as he tuned in to watch The Price is Right. However, his greatest source of happiness was the time spent with his grandchildren, where he embraced the opportunity to play and laugh alongside them, recapturing the carefree spirit of childhood.
In the company of eternal peace, Danny is now reunited with his brothers, Rickey Hopper, Billy Hopper, George Taylor and Gary Hopper, as well as his sister Carolyn Worz.
Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife, Carolyn Taylor. Danny's legacy lives on through his son, Anthony Hopper (Mikaila), his daughter, Jodie Gray (Michael), and a circle of cherished family.
His surviving brothers, Darrell Hopper, Andy Hopper, Johnny Hopper, and Bruce Taylor, along with his sisters, Betty Roberts and Janie Linan.
Danny's impact extends to the next generation, as he leaves behind six adoring grandchildren: Kinsley Hopper, Navy Hopper, Jasper Hopper, Haley Gray, Lexi Gray, and Lilliana Gray.
Additionally, Danny held a special place in his heart for five individuals whom he treated as his own sons: Will Hamrick (Lindsey), Trevor Hamrick (Kaci), Dillon Russell, Dakota Lee (Candice), and Gerson Pina (Lexis).
