Danny Britt Evans, 80, of Harrisburg, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025 at St. Bernards Medical Center to be with his elders. He was born January 1, 1945 in Lawrence, Kansas to the late Paul and Ailene Evans. Danny worked in construction and was a part of the local 1290 union. He retired from construction in 1996 and moved to New Hope, Texas. Once there he cared for his oldest grandson full-time and his others part-time.
Danny spent his days working in the yard and being the perfect Grandpa as only he knew how with a bold sense of pride and joy. He and his wife Linda loved to travel, whether across the country or to the land down under. Their yearly trip to Cape Girardeau playing the Semo District Fair with their diggers kept him in touch with his heritage. As his family had been a part of the carnival for four generations. His character was as colorful as his life and he will be missed deeply by the family that he cherished.
In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his sisters, Terri Evans, Becky Bowers and his brother Monte Evans.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda Evans; daughter, Brandy (Eric) Evans-Beadle; son, Sean Evans; 4 grandsons: Triston (Haley) Beadle, Britt Beadle, Samuel Evans, Alexander (Sophie) Evans; one great granddaughter, Jackie May Evans; sister, Melissa Evans and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
