Danny Martin Davis Jr.

Danny Martin Davis Jr. “Marty” 36, of Jonesboro passed from this life November 27, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Danny was born in Jackson, Tennessee on April 14, 1977 to Danny and Debbie Davis.

Danny spent the last 18 years of his life residing in Jonesboro before coming from Dumas, Arkansas where he graduated high school. Danny was of the Christian belief and attended Nettleton Church of Christ. He had a great love for music and also enjoyed cars. He was a graduate of Arkansas State University.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandfather Calvin Floyd, and paternal grandparents Harold and Ruby Davis.

He is survived by his mother, Debbie Davis of Jonesboro; sister, Jacqueline Frizzell with husband Cary Frizzell of Maumelle, Arkansas; twin niece and nephew, Gretchen and Peyton Frizzell of Maumelle, Arkansas; and grandmother, Gladys Floyd of Caruthersville, Missouri.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 2, 2013 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Young officiating. Pallbearers will include Cary Frizzell, Ronnie Reddick, Matthew Chambers, John Poole, Don Moore, and Dick Freer. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Emerson Funeral Home.
