Danny Lee Collins

Danny Lee Collins, 76, of Hoxie, formerly of Jonesboro, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born to the late Sylva and Jewell Collins on August 20, 1947, in Jonesboro. Danny resided in Hoxie for the past 4 years after spending the majority of his life in Jonesboro.

Danny was a devoted member of Great Harvest Church in Hoxie, where he faithfully attended. He held a deep commitment to his faith and was a licensed member of the Full Gospels Denomination. Additionally, Danny served as a pastor for a church in Bald Knob, Arkansas, for 4 years, touching many lives with his spiritual guidance.

In addition to his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his first wife of 43 years, Judy Collins. He is survived by his son, Scott (Angie) Collins of Tumbling Shoals; daughter, Pam (Donny) Pearman of Eagle Rock, MO; brother, Billy Collins of New Mexico; six grandchildren, Alyssa Arndt, Collin Pearman, Ella Pearman, Carlee Harrison, Savannah Collins, and Emma Collins; one great-grandchild, Lynnlee Pearman; and his second wife, Sue Collins.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 1-2 pm at Emerson Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 2 pm, with Donny Pearman officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Worley Cemetery.
