Daniel Dewayne Starr, aged 26, living in Jonesboro, AR died unexpectedly on November 17 th 2022.
Daniel was born to Michael and Angela Starr on May 29 th 1996, as the younger brother to Chad, Matt,
Jay Starr, and the older brother to Katherine Starr. A loving grandson to Bunny Starr, and the devoted
boyfriend to Chao. Daniel shared a special bond with his siblings; Chad and Daniel played off each
other’s creative storytelling for laughs, inspiring both to live their lives embracing stories in all forms.
Daniel and Matt were a dynamic duo, old souls who had unspoken communication and bantered with
sharp wit. Daniel and Jay shared a love for cars, inside jokes, and a friendship forged over spending
every moment they could together. Daniel and Katherine shared everything, often joking about secretly
having been twins, and spent their time dissecting their favorite movies and shows. While Chao and
Daniel spent only a short time together, he loved Chao with all his heart—and took every opportunity to
brag about her to his family. Bunny Starr, who he called Grandma Bunny, spent every moment he could
visiting her side. To his parents, Daniel was the gentle child who, to their delight, never gave them sass.
He was their little Pooh Bear, who grew into a man to be proud of.
Daniel shared his compassion with everyone he met, whether someone needed a laugh to lift their
spirits, or words of encouragement to follow their dreams. Daniel lived life embracing who he was, and
in turn, embraced the friends he met for who they were—and that is why he will be so missed. As one of
his many favorite characters said, “You have light and peace inside of you. If you let it out, you can
change the world around you.” - Uncle Iroh
As such a caring person who listened to his friends and family’s problems, he would have benefited from
telling us sometimes, “The ability to speak does not make you intelligent.” - Qui-Gon Jin
“For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the lord: whether we live
therefore, or die, we are the lord’s.” - Romans 14:8
