Dr. Daniel A.
Nichols
September 2, 1960 – April 27, 2026
Dr. Dan A. Nichols passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and deep devotion to those he loved most.
Born in Coldwater, Michigan, Dan lived a life marked by compassion, wisdom, and a servant’s heart. He was a dedicated chiropractor who spent his life helping others, always offering care, comfort, and encouragement to those around him. Beyond his work, he was a faithful Christian and served as an elder at Greensboro Rd Church of Christ, where his love for the Lord and commitment to his church family were evident to all who knew him.
In 1979, he married the love of his life, Jana Lynxwiler, and together they built a family rooted in love, faith, and strength. He was a proud and loving father to Danielle Davis, Brandi Johns and husband Ben, and Seth Nichols.
He was also a cherished Grampy to Branch Johns, Rollo Nichols, and Briar Johns, who brought him great joy and pride.
Dan will be remembered as a wonderful husband, a devoted father and grandfather, a trusted chiropractor, and a man whose faith guided every part of his life. His kindness, steady presence, and love for his family will be deeply missed and forever treasured.
Though our hearts grieve his absence, we find comfort in the promise of eternal life and the peace of knowing he is home with the Lord.
