Daniel L. Eggers

July 29, 1939 — August 4, 2017

Daniel L. Eggers, 78, of Jonesboro, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017, at his home of natural causes.

Born in Monette, Daniel lived in several cities before residing in Bigelow and then moving to Jonesboro five years ago. He spent most of his working career as a sales representative and worked several years for OTASCO and Whiting Systems Commercial Equipment Company.
Daniel was a member of the church of Christ, and was a past Reserve Officer of the Conway County Sheriff's Office.

Daniel enjoyed hunting and fishing and was preceded in death by his parents: Homer and Pauline Dowless Eggers and a brother, Ronald Dean Eggers.

Survivors include 1 daughter and son-in-law: Tina and Mark Griffith of Jonesboro;
1 son, Anthony D. Eggers of Jonesboro;
2 brothers and sister-in-law: Gary D. and Susan Eggers of Columbiaville, Michigan, and Michael C. Eggers of Cabot; and
3 grandchildren: Rocky Griffith, Amanda Griffith and Nicholas Carl Eggers.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday evening at Emerson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Nevin Gnagey officiating. Burial will follow in Monette Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Randy Eggers, Mike Barnett and Bill Crain.
