Daniel Creswell

Daniel R. Creswell, 66, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Friday, November 5, 2021 at his home. He was born to the late Donald and Annie Martin on March 10, 1955 in Tennessee. Daniel worked on the Mississippi River as an engineer on tugboats for 40 years. He retired from Hytrol after working for them for five years. He was a member at Central Baptist Church with his wife, Sue. Daniel enjoyed working in the yard, relaxing at home, and spending time with family. In addition to his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by his brothers, Darrell Creswell and Eugene Creswell.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sue Creswell of the home; son, Brandon Rogers Creswell of the home; daughter, Samantha Rogers Creswell of the home; brother, Lester Creswell (Margaret) of Gautier, Mississippi; and sister, Donna Shepard (David) of Sardis, Mississippi; nephews, B.J. Creswell of Gautier, Mississippi and Justin Creswell of Cordova, Tennessee; nieces, Jennifer King of Atoka, Mississippi, Chelsea George (Brandon) Independence, Mississippi, and Kayce Anthony (Tyler) of Independence, Mississippi.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date at Martin Bluff Cemetery in Gautier, Mississippi.
