Dana Denise Totty, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, & sister passed away peacefully on July 12 2023 at the age of 60.  She was born September 28, 1962 in Jonesboro, AR to LouAnne Moon and the late Bob O’Guinn. Dana spent a period of her life in Texas before residing in Arkansas.

Dana found joy in photography. She took pride in being able to capture life long memories for friends and family. She enjoyed cooking and baking especially around the holidays.

She had a kind heart and found fulfillment in helping others anytime she was able to. She was a safe haven for many children who almost always ended up calling her mom instead of Dana.

Dana was proceeded in death by her (step) son Gregory Totty and father Bob O’Guinn.

Her passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved her dearly.

Dana will be lovingly remembered by her mother, LouAnne Moon of Jonesboro, two daughters, Ashley (Josh) Barnes of Lake City and Amber Hill of Jonesboro as well as a daughter by heart, Tonya (Eric) Rees of Bryant, Arkansas. One sister, Gerry Anne (Donnie) Ervin of Texas, 3 brother, Bobby and Stephen O’Guinn of Jonesboro and Timmy “Redrock” (Lira) O’Guinn of Texas.

She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Kyle, Kelsey, Logan, Londyn, Madison, Morgan, Krista, William, and Tricia; great grandchildren Luke, Ashten, and Ollie.

Additionally, she is survived by several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember their Aunt Dana.

A visitation will be from 5:00 -6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Emerson Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Steve Hinkle officiating.

Burial will be private.
