Dallas S. Elrod

Dallas S. Elrod, 79, of Jonesboro, died Friday evening at his home. Born in Bay, he had lived all of his life in this area. He was a retired farmer and was of the Baptist belief.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Katherine Elrod; sons, Barry Elrod, Mark Elrod, Davey Elrod, all of Jonesboro; daughter, Melissa “Missy” Moore, Lenexa, KS; sisters, Lois Self, Piggott, Shirley Elrod, Joyce Gunn, both of California; 8 grandsons; and 1 great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother; and 1 sister.

All services will be private.
