August 2, 1945 — September 22, 2025

Memphis, Tennessee

Dallas Duon Queen, 80, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on September 22, 2025, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Born on August 2, 1945, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dallas was the son of Willie and Gladyce Queen. He worked as a bricklayer for over 30 years, building homes across Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Georgia. Dallas took great pride in his craft and loved showing the places he helped create. His biggest accomplishment he would always mention was the outdoor fireplace and patio he built for his family.

He enjoyed playing pool with friends and teaching the game to anyone willing to learn. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he also had a deep love of music. Dallas was known to arrive at family gatherings in his green Corvette, singing Elvis Presley songs with the windows down. To his nieces and nephews, he was larger than life, and they would come running the moment he pulled up. He also spent countless hours creating cassette tapes from his records, carefully blending songs and comedy routines into perfect playlists. One of his favorites was Who’s on First by Abbott and Costello, which never failed to bring him laughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Melissa Clemens; his companion, Patricia Henley; his brothers, Robert, James, and David Queen; and his sister, Marjorie Rodriguez, and niece Patty Queen.

Dallas is survived by his sister, Comolia Weter; his daughter, Tiffany Hayden and her husband Frank Hayden; granddaughter, Trinity Hayden; sisters-in-law, Carla Queen (David), Sherry Queen (James), and Jan Queen (Robert); and former spouse, Jennie Manees.

He is also survived by cousins Marna Schank, Cindy Schank Caldwell, Carl and Judy Queen, Paula Queen, Charlene Queen, Carol Queen, Tommy Queen, Joyce Queen, and Donna Queen.

His nieces and nephews include Holly Jubera and her husband, Steve; Kimberly Gibbens and her husband, Tom; Jason Weter; Tracy Queen; Melanie Queen; Kathryn Jackson and her husband, Steve; Kari Cole and her husband, Dean Brown; Robert Queen; Paul Queen; Johnny Caldwell; Chelsea Queen; and Eric Queen.

Great-nieces and nephews include Katie Berry, James Jubera, Robert Jubera, Mary Jubera, Colby Ray, Ethan Gibbens, Anna Gibbens, Steven Jackson, William Cole, and Russell Cole.

Great-great-nieces and nephews include Roland, River, and Ember Berry; Carli and Tristen Queen, Kaelyn, Chloe, Ivy, and Aiden Cole.
