Dale L. Pulley, 91, lived most of his life in the Lake City area. He was born in March 20, 1932 in Lake City to Roy G. and Henrietta Pulley. He served his country in the US Army. Dale was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist where he served as an Associate Pastor. He became the associate pastor after retiring from ADT (American District Telegraph Company). Even while working at ADT, he was a carpenter at heart and spent many hours, (as his family would say) piddling in his work shop with multiple projects going on at the same time. His passion was going twice a week on visitations telling people about Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and two grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Mary, of the home; daughters, Karen Wakefield; Linda Stadler and husband Louie, both of Jonesboro; Shanna Wooldridge of Columbus, Missouri; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday, September 29, 2023 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Chad Graves officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time on Friday.
