Dale Edward Neal Sr.

Dale Edward Neal Sr., 73, of Brookland passed from this life Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at his home. He was born January 18, 1946 in Bay to the late Dave and Veyrble Neal.

Dale has lived in the Jonesboro area all of his life and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Neal served our great country in the Army during the Vietnam War and then served in the National Guard once he returned home. He loved to hunt, fish, and travel, especially to Branson. He also loved being with his family and spending time with his grandkids.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Adams; brothers, Billy Neal and Jesse Woodrow Neal and a granddaughter, Ambriel Neal.He is survived by his loving wife Alene of the home; daughter, Sherry (Shannon) Hawkins of Wilson; sons Dale (Ronda) Neal Jr or Steele, MO and Jessi Neal of Brookland; brother, Bobby Smith of Branson, MO; sisters, Katherine Granger, Betty Newberry and Margaret Cook all of Jonesboro and Laverne Rowlett of Branson, MO; grandchildren Paige (Joshua) King, Shannon (Jessica) Hawkins Jr, Carlton Neal, Ashton Neal, Traelyn Neal, Preston Neal and one great-grandson Jackson Hawkins.
