Dale Letner, 69, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born on February 23, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan to Glen and Donie Arzella Letner. He was of the Baptist belief. His hobbies included, motorcycling, hunting, and anytime he had a wrench in his hand. His most precious time was with his family, grandkids and great grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Ronnie Letner; daughter, Terrie Simpson.
Survivors include his wife, Sharlene Letner, of the home; son Stephen Letner and wife Twana; daughter, Crystal Brewer and husband, Jeremy all of Jonesboro; brothers, Redd Newsom of Hardy; Robert Love of Murphy, North Carolina; and Andrew White, of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Regina Worsley of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Ethan, Caitlin, Madelynn, Dakota, Jacob, Braddie, Glenn, Brianna, Tori, Livie, Xander, Kenzlie, Emrie, Zoie, Brylee, Carter, Gauge, and Sawyer; great grandchildren, Aspen, Camden, Chloe, Ayden, Stetson, and Kaleb.
A memorial service will be 6:00 Monday night at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Tommy Newman officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangments. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 6:00, service time. Burial will be private. To sign an online guestbook, go to emersonfuneralhome.com.
