Dale Alexander, 85, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Dale was born in Jonesboro on November 25, 1932, to the late James and Alice Blalock Alexander. Dale lived most of his life in Jonesboro, was a farmer and a member of the Otwell Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his former wife, Jeaneane Alexander and 2 brothers, James and Max Alexander.
Survived by his wife, Shyrlene Alexander of the home.
Son, Lindy Alexander and fiancée Jane Walker of Weiner.
Step- sons, Gary Faisst (Donna) of Tyler, Texas and Tim Faisst (Diane) of Jonesboro.
Grandson, Will Alexander Step grandchildren, Lindsay Saenz, Cody Faisst, Jordan Faisst, Matt Faisst, Erin Smith (Drew) and 3 step great-granddaughters.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Otwell Christian Church with Rev. Mitch Ford and Jim Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the McDaniel Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018, from 5-7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Dr. Robert Warner Jr., David Petrus, Sam Denton, Jordan Faisst, Matt Faisst, Cody Faisst and Drew Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Nutt, Garfield Edgar, Billy Wilkins, Neal Puckett, Bobby Smith, John Keller, Aaron Keller, Landon Furnish, Caleb Strait, Jerry Lewis, Logan Mitchuson and Billy Joe Adams.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Otwell Christian Church, 46 CR 221 Jonesboro, Ar. 72404
