Curtis Spence

Curtis Spence, 72, well known for his love of travel, made his journey on Thursday, November 1, 2007, when our Lord called him home. He was born and lived his entire life in Jonesboro and was a member of the Highland Drive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Sr. and Velma Spence, and one brother Herbert Spence Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia A. Spence, of the home; two daughters Carol Stanard and her husband Michael of Kerrville, Texas, and Sherry Junyor of Monette, Arkansas; one brother, Gerald P. Spence Jr. and his wife Eflriede of Augusta, Georgia; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3:00 P.M., Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Highland Drive Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny Hutchinson officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
