Curtis “Crickett” Farmer, 63, of Jonesboro went home to Jesus just a shouting in his sleep in his home. He was the baby of seven brothers and was born to the late Fredrick Denton and Lola Mae Farmer on November 16, 1953 in Trumann. Crickett served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged upon his completion. He was member of the Broadway Ave. Missionary Baptist Church in Bay. Crickett was always there to lend a helping to anyone and was known for his generosity and love for his family.
In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by two brothers: J.R. Farmer and Jimmy Farmer.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Melissa Farmer, of the home; sons: Chris(Nicole) Farmer of Manchester, TN and Jordon Farmer of the home; and one daughter: Angela(Daniel) Stidham of Paragould; four brothers: Bobby(Carolyn)Farmer of Trumann, Freddie(Lois) Farmer of Trumann, Kenneth(Jennetta) Farmer of Jonesboro, and Butch(Susie)Farmer of Hamilton, AL; and seven grandchildren: Caleb Farmer of Jonesboro, Olivea and Kailey Jett and Miles Young all of Paragould, Harper Jernigan, Maggie, and Paisley Farmer of Manchester, TN.
A visitation will be from 9-10 am Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Emerson Funeral Home.
A memorial service will follow the visitation at 10am Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Emerson Funeral Home with Brother Rick Jensen officiating.
Burial will be private.
