Craig Ward

Craig Ward, 90, of Jonesboro, died Friday, August 13, 2010, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Born in Batesville, Arkansas, Craig lived in Geneva, Illinois, before moving to Jonesboro in 1971. He worked several years for DuKane Corporation in Illinois and Walker Manufacturing and Lincoln of St. Louis in Jonesboro. Craig was a member of Nettleton Church of Christ and was an avid checkers player.

Craig was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Ward, and two brothers, Ted Ward and Winford Ward.

Survivors include one son, Bruce Ward of Apache Junction, Arizona, and one granddaughter, Becky Jo Ward of Apache Junction.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 in Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9-10:30 at Emerson Funeral Home.
