Courtney "Deedee" Deanna Colburn

Courtney “DeeDee” Colburn, 32, of Jonesboro formerly of Tuckerman passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born September 16, 1990 in Jonesboro to Bobby Holladay and the late Roberta Pruitte. Courtney lived in Jonesboro and Bono most of her life, but was raised in Trumann. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Tuckerman. Courtney enjoyed anything art related, painting, making bracelets, shopping, traveling, swimming, the ocean, walking, writing poems and childrens books, music and popsicles. Most of all she loved spending time with family especially her children and braiding her daughters hair.

In addition to her mother, Courtney was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Brenda “Grannysue” Hawkins and her mater grandmother, Nene Cora.

Survivors include her father, Bobby (Lori) Holladay; her father who helped raise her, Tommy Stevens; husband of 11 years, JPaul Colburn; 2 sons, Camryn Chambers, Gatlin Colburn; 6 daughters: Lilly Colburn, Brooklynn Chambers, Kara Chambers, Brooke Colburn, Emma Colburn, Maddie Colburn; 4 brothers: Josh Hoover, Hunter Holladay, Landon Holladay, Marshal Holladay; 1 sister, Ellisabeth Holladay; aunt, Kelly Mooneyham and 2 cousins, Brianna Mooneyham and Cody Mooneyham.

Funeral service will be Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Brandon Gates officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
