Courtney Michelle Bridger

Courtney Michelle Bridger, 28, of Jonesboro gained her wings on Saturday, November 13, 2021. She was born March 26, 1993 in Jonesboro to Shelly and Herb Wicker.

Courtney was born and raised in Jonesboro and was a 2011 graduate of Valley View High School. She attended ASU Newport and graduated with her Practical Nursing degree. She then went on to get her Associates at Black River Technical College. She was an RN at Eye Surgery Center of Arkansas (Southern Eye Associates). Courtney married her love Kyle Bridger October 19, 2019. She became a mother to her beautiful little girl, Allison Claire August 10, 2020. Courtney loved the outdoors, trips to the lake, hunting and of course shopping. Courtney attended Journey Church in Jonesboro.

Courtney is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bobby Joe and Linda Wicker as well as a cousin, Jacob Bearden.

She is survived by her husband, Kyle Bridger of the home and his parents, Susan and Glenn Bridger; daughter, Allison Claire Bridger; parents, Shelly and Herb Wicker of Jonesboro; brother, Jarrod (Rimbey) Wicker of Jonesboro; niece, Sadie Wicker; her paternal grandparents, Herbert and Deloris Wicker; great-grandmother. Lena Johnson; her honorary sisters, Brittany Mullins, Katie Needham, Brittany Files and Savanah Agee; her Southern Eye Associates work family, as well as a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 from 10-11 am at Emerson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 11 am.
