Cory Alan West

Cory Alan West, 46, of Brookland passed from this life Saturday, December 28, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1973 in Jonesboro to Steve West and Polly West-Stone. Cory has lived in the Jonesboro area all of his life and was a Christian. Cory was a local rock musician and played in a band called Third Gear Pinned or “3GP”. He also loved motorcycles, fishing and most importantly, his grandkids.

Cory is preceded in death by his father, Steve West as well as his grandparents.

Cory is survived by his loving wife Melissa, of the home; mother, Polly (Rick) Stone; sons, Scott West, Ryan (Lindsey) West, Christian Proffitt, Kaleb (Brooke) Puckett and Hayden Puckett; daughters, Courtney West, Desiray Watkins, Emily Proffitt and Lexy Proffitt; sister Leah (Bryan) Harrison as well as 15 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
