Corene Pinchback

Corene J. Pinchback, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Bono, Corene lived most of her life in Jonesboro. She was a long-time office manager for Lynne Greene Enterprises in Jonesboro and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jonesboro. Before she became disabled, Corene enjoyed yard work and traveling with her family, especially Branson trips with her sisters.

Corene was preceded in death by her parents: Cletus and Faye Knight Lakey, and a brother-in-law, Melvin Cline.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Lloyd Pinchback, married June 19, 1954;
1 daughter and son-in-law: Kim and Jimmy Alexander of Jonesboro;
2 sisters and brother-in-law: Jean Cline and Shirley and Clarence "Scoot" Dent, all of Jonesboro;
3 grandchildren: Ashley (Tim) Hoggard, Jordan Alexander and Zachary Alexander, all of Jonesboro; and
3 great grandchildren: Max, Emma and Kate Hoggard.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Monday at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Philadelphia Cemetery with Rev. John Miles officiating.
