Constance “Connie” E. Parham, 91, of Jonesboro died Sunday, July 27, 2008 in Washington, Missouri. She had lived most of her life in Jonesboro and was a member of the Washington Avenue Church of Christ. Se was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Parham, whom she married on August 5th, 1933; a daughter, Ann Smith; parents, Albert and Annie Cooper; three brothers, Clarence Cooper, John Cooper, and Jim Henry Cooper; three sisters, Opal Cooper, Charlse Cooper and Ernestine Chisenhall.
Connie is survived by one brother, Bill Cooper and his wife Gloria of Corona, California; four grandchildren, Mike Smith, Chuck Smith, Kelly Smith and Patrick Smith; five great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, August 1, 2008 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Kenneth Gossett officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Stan Hamilton, Jimmy McCain, Jeremy Dement, Ron Davy, Joe Gregory, and Trevor Moore serving as pallbearers and Johnny Moore serving as an honorary pallbearer.
