Connie Perkins Jones

Connie Perkins Jones, 66, of Jonesboro died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was of the Baptist belief. Connie graduated from Bono High School in 1964. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lloyd Perkins and her mother, Claudine Geneva Humphrey Perkins.

Survivors include her son, Nick Jones (Kristi); daughter, Lilly McCammond (Dusten) both of Jonesboro; four sisters, Bonnie Derryberry (Paul) of Fort Myers, Florida; Joyce Cantu (Victor) of Shelbyville, Tennessee; Mary Aldrich of Columbia, Tennessee; Christine Cravens (Troy) of Dixon, Tennessee; brothers, Joe Perkins (Becky) of Jonesboro; Pete Perkins (Trexyl) of Ore City, Texas; grandchildren, Brooke Jones, Adam Jones, Colton Jones, Keeley Kelems and Sydney Kelems; two great grandchildren, Lilly Meade and Joshua Kent all of Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Darrell Runyun officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery with Joseph Perkins, Terry Tyler, Don Wisdom, Roger Anderson, Dusten McCammond, and Joe Perkins serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Tuesday.
