Colette Puryear, 61, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday morning March 8, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
She was born in Jonesboro and had lived in Jonesboro most of her life. She was a Sales Representative for Bankers Advertising Company, and a very active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Oscar Hazelbaker and Virginia Hopkins Hazelbaker.
Survivors include:
Three sons; Chris Puryear and his wife Rita of Jonesboro.
Jeff Puryear and his wife Shannon of Jonesboro.
Chad Puryear and his wife Aimee of Germantown, Tennessee.
Two daughters; Bryn Puryear of Dallas, Texas.
Cheryl Smith and her husband Scott of Centerton, Arkansas.
Two sisters; Mary Watts of Plano, Texas
Nancy Schoenborn of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Nine Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday March 10, 2007 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Mark Wood and Deacon Vic Stepka officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Friday evening March 9, 2007 from 5-7:00 P.M. with a Rosary said at 7:00 P.M. at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Active Pallbearers will be Perry L. Osborn, Glenn Watts, Ken Schoenborn, Brent Watts, Phillip Schoenborn and Bill Krause.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Ebbert, Paul Tarver, Wayne McKinney, Mark Vest, Mark Underwood and Bryce Brewer.
Family request that lasting memorial be made to the Blessed Sacrament School Endowment Fund. 614 S. Church Street Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
