Cody Lyn Crowell, 29, of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday December 13, 2025 at his home. He was born May 13, 1996 in Branson, Missouri to David Crowell and Shanna Kellett.

Cody has lived in Northeast Arkansas for the last 17 years having previously lived in Thayer, Missouri, and attended Brookland High School where he was on the very first Brookland football team. Cody loved to have a good time and was said to be the life of the party and had everyone in the room laughing as soon as he walked in. He also loved animals, especially his new French Bulldog, Mia.

Cody is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Larry Kellett as well as an uncle, Brett Kellett.

He is survived by his parents, David (Terri) Crowell and Shanna Kellett; sister, Alexandra Ivy; brother, Nick Lashley; his Nana, Joan Kellett; grandfather, Dale (Pat) Crowell; grandmother, Joyce (KG) Harlan; aunt, Sonja (Ritchie) Ingle; cousins, Holly McCammon, Hunter Ingle and Megan Pierce as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Emerson Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. and last until service time. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider making a donation to the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society or adopt a rescue dog and name it Cody.
