Clyde Jefferson Jr.

Clyde Jefferson Jr. (Aka Papa), age 66, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Friday, November 11, 2022. He was born to the late Clyde and Juanita Jefferson on March 1, 1956 in Memphis TN. Clyde was a retired U.S. Army Veteran. He loved visiting and joking with family and friends, grilling, and sharing his life’s wisdom with others. Where ever Clyde went you would see him with his two dogs, Peanut and Moto. In addition to his parents, Clyde is preceded in death by his son, Demarcus Kirby; brother, Ronald Bynum; and sisters, Renee Bruce and Mentha Jefferson.

Clyde is survived by his wife, Miriam Jefferson; twin daughters, Constance and Consuela Jefferson; sons, Lashawn Earl Bay, Marquin Howard, Phishon Bass, and Demaron Bass; grandchildren, Dorian Jefferson, Erihanna Jefferson, Erin Jefferson, Simone Howard, Timeon Howard and Ashur Bass; brother, Stanley Jefferson; sisters, Sherron Jefferson and Stephanie (Roy) Martin; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
