Clovis Wayne Widener, 82, of Jonesboro, formerly of Blytheville, passed from this life on Tuesday June 24, 2025 at Monette Manor. He was born October 3, 1942.

Wayne lived in Blytheville for over 40 years and was a devoted member of Armorel Baptist Church and helped with prison ministry for several years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and had a great personality and sense of humor.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Paula Dennis and a granddaughter, Angela Moss.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Deborah Widener; son, Michael Widener of Blytheville; daughters Kaitlyn Widener of Fayetteville and Becky Eakin of Hope; brother, David Widener of Calion; sister, Ruth Ponder of Camden as well as 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday June 27, 2025 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m.

Burial will be held at Salem Cemetery near Camden, Arkansas.
