Clifton R. Spradling, 67, of Jonesboro died Friday at his residence after a long battle with cancer.
He was born on December 18, 1944 in Waldenburg to the late Joseph “J.R.” and Hazel Bradley Spradling. He lived all his life in NE Arkansas area. He was retired Shipping Supervisor from Coors Industry. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, joking around with anyone he came in contact with, and loved to help his family and teach them life skills. He had a special place in his heart for all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Charlie Bill and Ruby Willbanks.
Mr. Spradling is survived by his wife, Hester Willbanks Spradling of the home; five sons, Kevin Spradling (Tracy) of Atwood, CA, Jerry Collier (Stacie) of Harrisburg, Steve (Neva) Collier of Maumelle, AR, Brian Spradling Reeves (Brandy)of Southaven, MS, Jonathan “Cord” (Kellie) Spradling; three daughters, Anita Kay Spradling of Lamar, AR, Angela “Sissy” (Ronnie) Swanner of Harrisburg, and Hope Hudson of Brookland; a brother, John Clifford “Butch” Spradling of Harrisburg; two sisters, Diane Avgeris of Memphis, and Karen Camp of Waldenburg; and a numerous amount of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, nieces, and nephews; and one special nephew, Eugene “Bear” Willbanks.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday morning in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Sister Roma Adams and Terry Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Anthony and John Ivy, Tony and Troy Keller, and Roger and Tommy Bradley.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jackie Ivy and Thomas Staten Jr.
