Clevie Mcmillon

October 7, 1925 — June 9, 2015

Clevie McMillon, 89, of Jonesboro passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at her residence.

Clevie was born in the Caldwell Chapel community on October 7, 1925 to the late Ernest and Retha Baugh Levins. Her hobbies included fishing, camping, cooking, quilting, and oil painting. She was married to the love of her life for almost 73 years, and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a faithful Christian lady.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, N.J. McMillon; one granddaughter, Jennifer Lee Coffman Grady; and one nephew, Freddie McMillon.

She is survived by one son, Morris W, McMillon (Laura) of Bentonville; two daughters, Judy G. Grooms (Bobby) and Janet Bradley (Rusty) all of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; three brothers, Gerald Levins of Jonesboro, Darrell Levins of Paragould, and Bill Levins of Jonesboro; two sisters, Flossie McMillon Dunham of Paragould and Ernestine Hochstetler of Georgia; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be at 2pm Saturday in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Raymond Atwood officiating. Interment will directly follow in Finch Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are grandsons: Doug McMillon, David McMillon, Daven Holladay, Jarrett Holladay, and Jonathan Monroe.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to Judy Russell, Loretta King, and Lisa Robertson, they were all very special caregivers to our mother.
