Clemmie Yvette King Watkins

Clemmie Yvette King Watkins, 55, joined her husband and father in eternal rest on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Clemmie was born on July 12, 1966 to Betty Lou Barris-Harper and the late Joseph King Jr. In addition to her father, Clemmie is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Randell Watkins Jr and brother, Robert Eugene Barris.

Clemmie was a resident of Jonesboro for 31 years, coming from Arlington Heights, IL, and was a member of the Southwest Church. She loved to draw and knit. Clemmie also loved traveling. She would often travel back to Illinois. One of her favorite trips was to Canada to see Niagara Falls. Most importantly, Clemmie loved her family. She was an active band parent and soccer grandma. She loved being with her grandchildren.

Clemmie is survived by her mother, Betty Lou Barris-Harper of Batesville; daughters, Tahnee Anderson and Tylea Watkins, both of Jonesboro; brother, Tommy Harper Jr of Batesville; sisters, Lorraine Barris of Jonesboro, Kim Atkins of Little Rock, Kaye King of Little Rock, and Krystal Dixon of Pine Bluff; and two grandchildren, AJ Anderson and KJ Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
