Mr. Clarence William Smith Sr. or more commonly known as “Punk”,78, a lifetime resident of Fisher, departed this life on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Nea Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born October 5, 1943 to the late Samuel and Annie Mae Smith.
He was a farmer, working on his own farm and helping others and spent a couple of years working for Riceland. Punk attended Fisher High School and was a member of Hickory Ridge Church of Christ. Majority of the time you could find him out doing some kind of hunting. Along with being an avid hunter, Punk enjoyed fishing, welding, working on the farm, and most of all spending time with his family especially his grandkids.
In addition to his parents Clarence is preceded in death by; three brothers, Luther Smith, Charlie Smith, Joe Smith; and three sisters, Sarah Slocum, Regina Caffrey, and Ruth Willis.
Punk is survived by his lovely wife of 56 years Mrs. Juanita Smith of the home; two sons, Clarence Smith Jr of Fisher, Clinton (Paige) Smith of Jonesboro; two daughters, Dawn Renee Kieffer of Weiner, Candice Noel (Rusty) Shaver of Melbourne; one sister, Zannie Mae Smith of Lake City; 11 grandchildren, Tori (Jay Fromm) Smith of Michigan, Clay (Jessica Stracener) Kieffer of Jonesboro, Morgan (Colton) McDonald of Augusta, Olivia (Alex Fike) Shaver of Melbourne, Ali Shaver of Melbourne, Denver Robbins of Del Ray Beach, FL, Hunter Shaver of Ohio, Hayden Shaver of Melbourne, Haley Shaver of Melbourne, Casyn Smith of Jonesboro, Pryce Smith of Jonesboro; four great-grandchildren, Mason Kieffer of Jonesboro, Marleigh Kieffer of Jonesboro, Brody Kieffer of Jonesboro, and Huckley Fromm of Michigan.
Friends may visit at Hickory Ridge Church of Christ, Friday, July 29, 2022, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorial services will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked to please consider donations to the Fisher Fire Department or the Fisher Cemetery Funds.
