Clarence Pegtion

Clarence Pegtion, 76, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Thursday, October 19, 2006, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Paint Rock, Alabama, Mr. Pegtion lived in Missouri and Blytheville, Arkansas before moving to Jonesboro in 1988. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a Korean War veteran. He was a Baptist and was preceded in death by his parents: William and Mattie Leverette Pegtion.

Survivors include:

3 Daughters: Karen Wright of Lake City,Arkansas,
Nancy Napier of Highland, California, and
Lynn Mitchem of Colton, California;

1 Son: David Pegtion of San Bernardino, California;

7 Grandchildren, and
1 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, October 23, 2006, at 2:00 in Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held Monday from 12 noon until 1:00 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
