Clarence Edward Bellah "Jack", 86 of Genesee County in MI; Has just became whole, and the newest member of “The Riches in Glory!” when he arrived in Heaven on Saturday, May 9, 2020. His death was not part of the 2020 pandemic Covid-19 but from his twenty year struggle with dementia, and he passed away at home in Bay, AR.
Born Friday, June 2, 1933 in Success, AR he was the youngest of five sons born to James and Ada (Wilson), and he was given the nickname of "Jack" by one of his Aunts [at birth]. His late parents moved from AR to the Flint, MI in 1943 during WWII for the industrial economy that was abundant in the area during this time. In 1950, following a suggestion from his mother Ada, he visited a local church in downtown Flint ~ Riverside Tabernacle; where he gave his life over to His Savior Jesus, beginning his personal relationship with Christ, and joining in the “Riches in Glory.” Jack graduated in 1953 honor-roll from Flint Central High School. He began working after a referral from his father James at AC Spark Plugs [a GM division] in April of 1955, until his retirement in April of 1990. He was drafted into the Navy, which he proudly served at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Annapolis, MD as a Naval Corpsmen HN E-3 for the Korean War. While working at AC he met the love of his life Norleen G. DeMott and married her on July 18, 1959 at Riverside Tabernacle in Flint, MI where he had been a member for several years. Together they raised five children who dearly loved him.
Jack loved to learn and study, his favorite was the Word of God, followed closely by the encyclopedia. He fully enjoyed ice cold Pepsi, Lay's potato chips, KFC, and Funnel Cakes. He was an avid foodie before this became a popular saying. He loved to shoot his 1958 16-guage shotgun in the woods when he lived in Lapeer, playing UNO, the boardgame Sorry, and his Saxophone. Jack always gave unconditional love, had a smile, a wave, and a very strong hand shake. He never knew a stranger; and he thoroughly enjoyed it whenever a "stranger" would knock on his front door and want to "share" a word of God with him.

Due to the facts that the Coronavirus/the Pandemic (Covid-19) is extremely high in Michigan and Jack passed away out-of-state; the original planned funeral will not take place. The family has now decided on cremation, and when it is safer to return to MI they will then announce a graveside funeral and dinner to celebrate Jack’s life.
The entire Bellah family would also like to thank his PCP Dr. Walters. Dr. Copeland and all the nurses at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR who cared for Jack in December and a special thanks to the Team at Arkansas Home Hospice! RN Teresa, CNA Melissa, Tamara, Caseworker Christy, and Chaplin Albert. You all are wonderful, caring and loving; Jack was blessed (as we were too) to have you all in our lives for such a time as this.
