Scottie Lyons Payne passed away Sunday, February 22, at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was a bright, cheerful woman with a great sense of humor who loved life and her family. She also worked beside her husband, John Payne, in the establishment of Arkansas Pools & Spas in 1973. She later joined the firm full-time in 1979, where she was instrumental in its success. She was active in the Pool and Spa Association, where she served six years on the National Retailers Council and as an officer of the state chapter.
Scottie and John enjoyed 47 years as owners and operators of Environments by Arkansas Pools & Spas. They retired in 2020 and were enjoying well-earned time at home.
