Cindy Lee Courville Petty

Cindy Lee Courville Petty, 66, of Jonesboro passed from this life Monday, November 4, 2024 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born February 7, 1958 in Jonesboro to the late Stanley and Olive Geneva Courville.

Cindy was a life long resident of Jonesboro and was a devout Christian who centered her life around her strong Christian values. She enjoyed cross stitching and spending time with her family. She was a natural caregiver and took great joy in taking care of others. Her favorite quote was “Everyone needs at least one hug a day, have you had yours?”.

In addition to her parents, Cindy is preceded in death by a brother, Joe Courville.

Survivors include her husband, John Petty; son, Malcom (Kristy) Hunter; daughter, April (Matt) Moses; brothers, Paul Courville, Michael Courville and Kenny Courville; sisters, Lanore Hensley, Linda Richardson and Carol Mayfield; grandchildren, Chase Hunter, Pyper Cornett, Ian Moses, Braydon Kellum, and Luna Parsley as well as 3 step-children, 10 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday November 8, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
