Charles F. Rizor, of Jonesboro departed this life on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born to the late Everett and Mary Rizor in Finley, Ohio.

He attended Whitmer High in Toledo, Ohio.  He attended various college courses and earned his industrial engineering degree.

Raised Catholic belief, but attended Central Baptist Church with his wife. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Jonesboro and worked as an Industrial Engineer at Dana Corporation. Chuck was an adventurous man that loved to travel, windsurf, sail sailboats, and ride his motorcycle. He also enjoyed camping, golfing, deer hunting, playing games, horseback riding, and spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by; one daughter, Angie Rizor Lesley; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kathy Rizor; one son, Jeffrey “Chad” Rizor (Abby), one stepson Kevin Cook (Angie); one stepdaughter, Kelly Kasserman (Bobby); five sisters, Elaine Lands, Sue Leasor (Lou), Marilyn Gunn, Linda Wurns (Vaughn), Phyllis Bonner (Keven); five grandchildren, Alexia Naipo (Kamiko), Wake Kasserman, Katie Kasserman, Ethan Cook, Caleb Cook; two great-grandchildren, Ocean Naipo, Layla Naipo; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.

Friends may visit at Emerson Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, February 1, 2023 beginning at 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to please consider donations to the Red Pig Fund of Jonesboro Elk’s Lodge in memory of Chuck.
