Christy Dawn Spearman

Christy Dawn Spearman, 48, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock. She was born on February 12, 1974 to Carl Taylor and Debbie Thomas Smith in Jonesboro. Christy enjoyed camping, swimming and spending time with family. She especially loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time and loving them. Christy is preceded in death by her grandfather, Harvey Thomas; and Uncles, Tim Thomas and Gary Thomas.

Christy is survived by her husband, Rodney Spearman; son, Jamie Brown of Jonesboro; daughter, Jessica Smith (Jamie) of Harrisburg; mother, Debbie Smith of Jonesboro; father, Carl Taylor; grandmother, Mary Thomas; brothers, James Griffin (Sheila) of Jonesboro and Shelby Griffin of Jonesboro; and grandchildren, Nicolas Smith, Daniel Smith, Weston Smith, Teagan Brown, Conner Brown, Octavia Brown, and Timothy Brown.

The visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

The funeral service will start at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
