Christopher "Chris" Swindle

Christopher “Chris” Swindle, 44, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, February 28, 2016. He had lived in Jonesboro all of his life. Chris was a member of Strawfloor Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Swindle; grandparents, Everett and Villa Mae Swindle, and Sammy and Prilly Curtis.

Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Henninger (Tanner) of Bono; Samantha Swindle, of the home; mother, Mary Swindle (Michael Garner) of Jonesboro; brother, Michael Swindle (Kim) Grandchildren, Hunter Henninger and Reece Henninger; and fiancé, Jamie Gilliam of Searcy.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Harold Russell officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Michael Summers, Brandon Edwards, Arthur Wallace Jr., Timmy Swindle, Brandy Scott and Anthony Swindle serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Brett Scott, Aaron Gilliam, Wayne Hogan, James Lowery, and the Curtis cousins. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Wednesday until service time.
