Christopher David Polsgrove

Christopher David Polsgrove, 48 of Brookland, Arkansas passed from this life Sunday, May 21, 2023 in Higden, Arkansas. He was born March 6, 1975 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to David Polsgrove and Barbara Featherston Polsgrove. He was raised in Newport, Arkansas where he was an exceptional athlete. He was a member of the 1991 Newport High School State Championship football team and 1992 State Runner-up baseball team. He moved to Jonesboro in 1993 to attend Arkansas State University where he obtained a degree in Human Resource Management. Christopher was employed by the Social Security Administration for over 20 years. He was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan who also loved playing golf and cooking for his family. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. His children were his greatest joy in life. He loved attending all of their school events and supported them in everything that they did.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Polsgrove; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Evalean Featherston and paternal grandparents, Harold Polsgrove and Norma Polsgrove Benson and Geraine Benson.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Melanie of the home; daughters, Lynley and Evan of the home; son, Davis of the home; mother, Barbara of Jonesboro and sisters, Ami Foster (Brandon) of Jonesboro and Erica Addington (Phillip) of Amagon.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Emerson Memorial Chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland. Officiating the services will be Dr. Gene Crawley. Active pallbearers will include; Shane Coe, Todd Norris, Dan Larson, Jason Busby, Brian Reardon, Matt Cunningham, Johnny Lowery, and Chris Pounders.
