Christopher "Chris" Mitchell

Christopher “Chris” Mitchell, 40, of Lake City died Saturday, July 29, 2017.  A lifelong resident of the Jonesboro area, he was of the Pentecostal belief.  Chris was a member of the 1995 Nettleton Senior Football team when they had an undefeated season.  He was a loving husband, father, son, uncle and brother and loved spending time with his family.  Chris was an avid Razorback fan.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother.

Survivors include his wife of five years, Katie Mitchell of the home; daughters, Natalie Mitchell of the home; Madison Banks of Jonesboro; parents, Kenny and Sheila Throgmartin of the home; sisters, Kendra Winston (Jarrett) of Brookland; Kenley Reeves (Micah) of Little Rock, Amber Throgmartin of Bryant, Arkansas.

Graveside funeral services will be 11:30 Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Pine Hill Cemetery with C. L. Robinson officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  Visitation will be private.
