Christopher "Chris" Allen Becker

Chris Shaffer, 38, of Hammond, Indiana, died Monday, October 8, 2007 from injuries received in an accident. He was born in Jonesboro, and was residing in Hammond, moving there from Midlothian, Illinois.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandfather, Orin L. Becker Senior, and an uncle, Orin “Len” Becker Junior. He is survived by his father, Ted Shaffer, Benton, Arkansas; his Mother Ellen M. Sauerbier, Blue Island, Illinois; grandmothers, Myrl Becker, Jonesboro, Opal Wells, Clinton, Arkansas; several, aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and a host of friends.
