Christine Delk

Christine Delk, 78, of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Born in Trumann, Christine lived most of her life in the Jonesboro area. She worked several years at Delta Manufacturing in Jonesboro and was a member of Bono Church of Christ. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, gardening and quilting.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents: Tommy and Earline Morris Holt; her husband, T.J. Delk; a daughter, Kimberly Adams; a son, Floyd Smith; 3 sisters: infant Mary Frances Holt, Dorothy Smith and Shirley Moore; 4 brothers: James Holt, H.B. Holt, Avery Holt and Leonard Holt; and a great, great grandchild, Baugh baby.

Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Steve and Ann Holt, and Charles and Libby Smith all of Jonesboro;

1 daughter, Sheila Fore of Trumann;

1 brother and sister-in-law: Donald R. and Pat Holt of North Carolina;

Her twin sister, Geraldine Escue of Bono;

9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Herman Cemetery with Richard Atkins officiating.

Pallbearers include Charles Smith, Billy Smith, Danny Smith, Brad Montgomery, Todd Baugh and Jamison Baugh.
