Christine "Christy" Deevers

Christine “Christy” Deevers, 46, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at her home. She was born June 8, 1973 in Cape Girardeau to Ruth LeGrand and the late Michael LeGrand. Christy was of the Catholic Faith. She attended Notre Dame High school in Cape Girardeau. Christy went on to get her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Southeast Missouri State University. She enjoyed gardening, reading, swimming, talking with friends and going to the lake. Most of all Christy loved spending time with her family especially her sons. She worked for ARcare and loved her job.

In addition to her mother, Christy is survived by her husband of 18 years, David Deevers of the home; her two sons, Cole and Cian Deevers of the home and her sister, Tracy LeGrand Maxwell of Tulsa.
