Christina Kent Buchanan

Christina Kent Buchanan, 32, of Lynn area passed away on April 20, 2016 at U.A.M.S in Little Rock due to injuries sustained from a vehicle accident.

Christina was born on July 31, 1983 in Jonesboro to Eddie and Sherry Golden Kent. Christina lived most of her life in the Smithville community, where she was a member of the Lynn High School class of 2001. Christina was a hard working loving mother of three children, and she loved being with her family. The love she had shown for her family is going to be truly missed but never forgotten.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James and Lois Golden; paternal grandparents, Darris and Leona Kent and Cloia James Rose and Beatrice Coffey; and husband, Josh Buchanan.

Christina is survived by her two sons, Shelby Biffle of Russellville and Isaac Thomas; one daughter, Novalene Kent; mother, Sherry Tomey and her husband Curtis all of the Lynn area; fathers Eddie Kent of Jackson, MO; and Gary Rose of Jonesboro; two brothers, Eric Kent and Seth Rose of Jonesboro; two sisters, Amanda Walker and her husband Josh of Strawberry and Josie Rose of Jonesboro; one niece, Braxtyn Walker of Strawberry; two nephews, Zaiden and Zachary Kent both of Jonesboro; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lynn Church of Christ with Tommy Newman and Carter Grindstaff officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home, and a second visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the Lynn Church of Christ. Interment will directly follow the service at Bethel Cemetery in Smithville with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Phillip Terry, Ted Hopkins, Danny Rose, Alan Morgan, Chris Pena, and Tony Ray.
