Chris Bowers

Chris Bowers, 35, of Jonesboro died Thursday February 20, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on July 27, 1978 to David Lynn Bowers and Robin Freeman Crowell.

He lived in Jonesboro most of his life and was of the Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother; Virginia Freeman, paternal grandmother Virginia Brown and paternal grandfather; G.W. Bowers.

Survived by his father; David Bowers of Jonesboro.

Mother; Robin Crowell of Jonesboro.

Son; John Howerton of Jonesboro.

Daughter; Christy Howerton of Jonesboro.

Fiancé; Kelly Chapman of Jonesboro.

Brother; Tim Bowers (Rachel) of Bay, Arkansas.

Sister; Heather Crowell of Jonesboro.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday February 23, 2014 at the South Caraway Baptist Church with Rev. Don Martin officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Saturday February 22, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be the South Caraway Baptist Church Adult Sunday School Class.
