Chester Sanford Stallings, 70, of Jonesboro died Sunday, August 12, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was a lifetime resident of Jonesboro and a member of the Nettleton Baptist Church. He was a retired Air Force veteran of 22 years and was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Alma Lawhon Stallings and half sister, Margaret Stevenson.
Survived by his wife, Bobbie Stallings of the home;
Son, Douglas Myers (Rene) of Escondido, California;
Daughters, Jamie Evans (James) of Victorville, California, Pam Statler (Randy) and Toni Holt (Barry) all of Jonesboro, and Sarah Stallings and Marjie Stallings both of Jackson, New Jersey;
Sisters, Alta Burns of Jonesboro and Janette Graham of Cherokee Village, Arkansas and
14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Graveside service with full Military Honors will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday August 15, at Ransom Cemetery with Rev. Craig Stull officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:30 Wednesday, August 15, at Emerson Funeral Home.
