Cheryl Lynn Ohme, 72, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born on September 3, 1953, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Paul and Shirley Hoffman.

Cheryl had lived in Jonesboro for the past two years, after spending ten years in Mountain Home. Prior to moving to Mountain Home, she lived most of her life in Ottawa, Illinois. She was of the Lutheran faith.

Cheryl had a deep love for dogs and especially enjoyed training them for agility. She also loved cooking and cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Shirley Hoffman; and her sisters, Laura Hoffman and Sharon Gaudi.

Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Russell) Floyd of Jonesboro; her sister, Karen Houltrum of Ottawa, Illinois; her grandchildren, Jayden Henry and Matt (Brianna) Osburn; and her great-granddaughter, Audra Osburn.
