Charolette Keith Pruitt

Charolette Ann Keith Pruitt, 78, of Jonesboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, while surrounded by family at her home.

Charolette was born on August 3, 1944, in Leachville, Arkansas, to the late James Virgil and Zelma Keith. She was raised in Leachville, Arkansas and lived many years in the Jonesboro area where she worked at Frolic Footwear and supported a family business, The Munch Box, before moving to Bella Vista, Arkansas where she lived from 1995 until returning to Jonesboro in 2018.  While in Bella Vista, Charolette worked at the Bella Vista Funeral Home for 20 years.

Charolette was an avid reader, enjoyed volunteering in Church, singing, playing piano, and was involved with Aglow Women’s Ministry for many years.

Charolette was preceded in death by her parents, James Virgil Keith and Annie Zelma Keith; husband Paul Pruitt; brother Ronnie Keith; and brother-in-law Paul Pickle.

Charolette is survived by 2 siblings: brother James Keith and wife Ruth Ann of Leachville; sister Kay Pickle of Jonesboro; and 1 sister-in-law Vicki Keith of Siloam Springs.  3 children: Angelia Pruitt-Vore and husband Michael of Jonesboro, and Heather Martin and husband Robert of Wister, Oklahoma; 1 son, Joseph Pruitt, and wife Jessica of Bella Vista; 2 aunts: Claudine Sparks and Fern Woodsmall; 13 grandchildren: Jaden Pruitt, Jaela Pruitt, Jase Pruitt, Trae BoBo, Joey Cross, Emily Vore, Ashlan BoBo, Jared Vore, Samuel Martin, Annelin Martin, Elizabeth Martin, Vincent Stout and Lillian Martin; 2 great grandchildren: Roma and Ayden; and cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Jace Tubbs officiating.  A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., preceding the funeral Service.
